Generation Action Africa partners with Girl Develop It, to provide tech skills to women in Africa.

We are excited to announce our recent partnership with U.S based non-profit, Girl Develop It, to provide tech skills for African women. The programme aims to create an opportunity for women from African countries to learn software development skills that allow them to pursue their passion. The programme will take the form of a six months fellowship to allow participants build relevant skills through instructor led classes, live workshops, coding labs, mentor events and a career day. Fellows will have the opportunity to work on capstone projects and solve real world problems with their newly acquired skill. Also, fellows interested in pursuing the field would be invited to serve as Teaching Assistants and Instructors in future cohorts.

Application for this programme opens towards the end of the year.
